Roopmati Pavilion is a historic hilltop pavilion located in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh, offering sweeping views of the Narmada Valley and the surrounding Vindhya ranges. Built in the 15th century, the pavilion is associated with the legendary love story of Rani Roopmati and Sultan Baz Bahadur of Malwa. Originally designed as a military lookout and pleasure pavilion, it also served as a place where Rani Roopmati is believed to have worshipped the Narmada River daily. Known for its simple Afghan-style architecture, airy balconies, and breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, Roopmati Pavilion is one of Mandu’s most romantic and scenic heritage sites.
