Patna Sahib, also known as Takht Sri Patna Sahib, is one of the five sacred Takhts of Sikhism, located in Patna, Bihar. It is the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru, which gives the site immense religious importance. The gurudwara stands near the banks of the Ganga River and attracts devotees from across India and abroad. The present structure was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the early 19th century. Inside the complex, several sacred relics of Guru Gobind Singh Ji are preserved. The architecture combines traditional Sikh style with local influences. Religious events and festivals are celebrated here with great devotion throughout the year. Patna Sahib continues to be a major center of Sikh faith, history, and pilgrimage.
