Shree Bhadra Maruti Temple is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located in Khuldabad, near Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra. This unique temple is one of the few in India where Lord Hanuman is depicted in a reclining posture, symbolizing his deep devotion and surrender to Lord Rama. According to legend, King Bhadrasena, a great devotee of Lord Rama, used to sing hymns in his praise. Pleased by his devotion, Lord Hanuman appeared and took a reclining position, listening to the king’s prayers. This divine event led to the establishment of the Bhadra Maruti Temple, where devotees continue to worship Hanuman in his rare sleeping form. The temple attracts thousands of devotees, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which are considered auspicious days for Hanuman worship. Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the "Taj of the Deccan," is a stunning Mughal-era mausoleum located in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra. Built in 1668-1669 by Azam Shah, the son of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, it was constructed in memory of his mother, Dilras Banu Begum. Designed to resemble the iconic Taj Mahal, Bibi Ka Maqbara features a grand white marble dome, intricate carvings, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Though smaller in scale than the Taj Mahal, the monument showcases impressive Mughal architectural elements, including delicate stucco work, latticed screens, and a striking octagonal structure.
