Parasnath Hills are the highest hills in the state of Jharkhand and are located in the Giridih district. The hills are most famous for Shikharji, the holiest pilgrimage site of Jainism. It is believed that 20 out of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras attained moksha at this sacred hill.
