Nhật Tân Bridge, also known as the Vietnam–Japan Friendship Bridge, is one of the most iconic landmarks in Hanoi, Vietnam, connecting Tây Hồ District with Đông Anh District across the Red River. Located just about 11 km from Hanoi city center, this modern cable-stayed bridge is a key gateway linking Noi Bai International Airport to downtown Hanoi. Completed in 2015, Nhật Tân Bridge is famous for its five soaring pylons symbolizing Hanoi’s five ancient gates, and its stunning LED lighting that transforms the skyline at night. Surrounded by popular attractions like West Lake (Hồ Tây), traditional villages, and riverfront viewpoints, Nhật Tân Bridge is not only a vital transportation route but also a favorite spot for photography, evening drives, and sightseeing in northern Hanoi.
