Gupteshwar Dham is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site located in the Rohtas district of Bihar, nestled within the Kaimur hill region. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated inside a natural limestone cave, giving it a unique spiritual setting. A Shiva lingam is worshipped here, believed by devotees to be self-manifested. The site becomes especially sacred during the month of Shravan and on Mahashivratri, when thousands of pilgrims visit. Natural waterfalls flow near the cave during the monsoon, enhancing the serene and mystical atmosphere. The surrounding forests and rocky terrain add to its scenic beauty. Gupteshwar Dham is also associated with ancient legends and long-standing local faith. It continues to be an important center of devotion, nature, and spirituality in Bihar.
