Fatehabad, Haryana is a historic town and the administrative headquarters of Fatehabad District in the north-western part of Haryana, India, strategically located on National Highway 9, approximately 48 km northwest of Hisar and well-connected by road to Punjab and Delhi. Founded in the 14th century by Emperor Firoz Shah Tughlaq and named after his son Fateh Khan, Fatehabad boasts a rich cultural heritage with sites like ancient ruins and traditional markets, and experiences a tropical climate with hot summers and cool winters. The district covers about 2,520 km² and is surrounded by Punjab to the north, Jind district to the east, Hisar district to the south, and Rajasthan to the west, making it an important agricultural and transport hub in the region.
