Dichpally Ramalayam, also known as Khilla Ramalayam, is a historic 14th‑century Lord Rama temple situated in Dichpally Village, Nizamabad District, in the southern Indian state of Telangana. This ancient temple, built by the Kakatiya kings, is renowned for its exquisite Kakatiya‑style architecture, crafted from white and black basalt stone and adorned with detailed sculptures of deities, animals and mythological figures, earning it the nickname “Khajuraho of Nizamabad.” The temple stands atop a small hillock and is reached by climbing 105 stone steps, with a pedestrian subway linking it to the nearby Raghunanda Temple. Located approximately 19–20 km from Nizamabad city along the NH44 highway, Dichpally Ramalayam is easily accessible by road, rail and bus, with the nearest railway stations at Dichpally and Nizamabad and the nearest major airport in Hyderabad.
