Chavadi in Shirdi is a sacred site where Sai Baba used to rest on alternate nights during the later years of his life. Located close to the Samadhi Mandir, Chavadi holds great spiritual significance for devotees. The building is now divided into two sections—one that houses a portrait of Sai Baba and another that displays his wooden bed and a white chair used during the Chavadi Procession. This procession, which continues to this day every Thursday night, re-enacts the ritual walk of Sai Baba from Dwarkamai to Chavadi. Visiting Chavadi offers a deep spiritual experience and a glimpse into the divine routine of Sai Baba’s life in Shirdi.
